The Department of Radiological Sciences is composed of 7 sections: Diagnostic Radiology, Breast Imaging, Ultrasound, CT and MRI, Radiation Oncology, Information and Customer Assistance Section (ICAS) and Training (Residency and Fellowship Training Programs). We help our clinicians help our patients by providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging modalities to assist in patient care. High-quality images and reports of radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, mammography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging are provided to them as well as their patients. Moreover, our four-year residency and ultrasound/CT-MRI fellowship training programs (1 year each) are committed to provide excellent radiologic services to our patients and to develop our trainees through relevant training and research. We uphold a high level of quality in carrying out this commitment through the support and accreditation of the Philippine College Radiology and its subspecialty societies – Ultrasound Society of the Philippines and the CT-MRI society of the Philippines. Besides diagnostics, our training programs have embraced the radiologist’s role in delivering therapeutic needs of our patients. Interventional procedures are introduced early on in their training to address the increasing need of minimally invasive techniques.
